We are looking for an experienced Pig Farm Worker to join the Breeding & Sow Department on a pig farm near Skjern.
The position focuses mainly on insemination, pregnant sows and gilts, so solid practical experience in pig production is required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience working with pigs
Experience with insemination and pregnant sows
Experience working with gilts (young breeding females) is highly preferred
Good understanding of pig management and animal welfare
Calm, responsible and reliable approach to animals
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Valid driving licence required
Own car required – mileage between farm locations will be reimbursed
🚜 The job involves travelling between 3 farm locations in the Skjern area.
For the right candidate, the farm offers a good salary depending on experience, the possibility of a permanent employment contract, and accommodation can be arranged.
